We have an excellent opportunity within our Engineering team in Romford for a Fleet Defect Controller.

You will be responsible for providing telephone support and electronic systems support for defect reporting on all fleets. You will also provide good quality defect information for all fleets, with the correctly prioritisation, to allow the planning team rectify the problem in an efficient and timely manner. You will need to act as a single point of contact for all fleet defect reporting.

You will need to assist with the attribution process to ensure that accurate attribution takes place in a timely manner. Producing weekly performance metrics that resonate at all levels in the business and build a cohesive structure for overall performance improvements and monitoring

Ensure that emerging trends in performance, safety, planning and production are promptly and efficiently realised. You will produce clear reports that will drive the direction the all  teams at HQ, Norwich, Ilford and Clacton take, in terms of performance, safety, planning and production initiatives. You will support the review of all day to day measures so root cause is established, and take ownership of the engineering KPI pack. You will build and maintain a business intelligence package for Engineering. You will be responsible for monitoring RTM real-time and provide warnings on potential defects and failures.

You will work 37 hours a week on a 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern.
