An opportunity has arisen in the finance department for a Credit Controller and Utilities Analyst. The role is based at The Hub, Colchester.

Details of the role:

Exercise credit control standards that ensure the company is open to the absolute minimum debt exposure and process all utility invoices received to make sure being charged correctly. You will also process internal and external accounts, ensuring that all work done and services rendered to other parties are invoiced and debts settled.

Another aspect of the role will be to process and check all meter readings received from 3rd parties and stations. Also, to assist the AR/Utilities Manager produce Property and Debtors Budget and forecast as and when required, making sure the Business Analysts are consulted to all ensure all income is captured. You will be required to ensure all standard tenant invoices are sent each period, together with any ad hoc requests.  Keep the periodic invoicing spreadsheet up to date and ensure it is sent to the Financial Controller each period for inclusion in the finance board pack. Ensure all standard tenant utility invoices are sent each quarter capturing any meter readings received including Network Rail.

Exercise credit control standards that ensure the company is open to the absolute minimum debt exposure, ensuring any issues are immediately flagged to the AR/Utilities Manager/Financial Controller to ensure no disputes with customers occur.
