Area Welcome Host

We are looking for an approachable, customer friendly individual to join our team of Welcome Hosts in the Clacton Area.

Main Duties:

You will be the public face of Greater Anglia, helping people buy tickets from the ticket machines, giving customers journey information, helping our mobility impaired customers have a smooth journey. Whilst you will be based at our busy interchange of Thorpe-le-Soken the role will be covering other stations along the route, popping in and checking the facilities, reporting any issues and making sure all our customer needs are met.

You will be embracing new technology as we use smart phones and tablets to give customers information and you will be there to assist in any disruption, helping customers to complete their journeys and giving advice for their onward travel. Whilst the role is Monday to Friday there are opportunities to work weekends during the summer and to assist in weekend engineering work as it arises.

What we are looking for:

You must be passionate about Customer Service, a team player with excellent communication skills, can work under pressure to deadlines and have a professional and fun approach to the role.
