Social Media Assistant

We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Social Media team currently based at Romford Rail Operating Centre. 

Main Duties:

In this role you will provide real time information and respond to customer comments and questions via the Greater Anglia and Stansted Express Twitter feeds as well as monitoring other Social Media. This will include posting information about the status of our services, providing updates to customers throughout disruption events, answering questions raised by customers and resolving issues by highlighting them to the relevant areas of the business and tracking results. 

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a challenging and high-profile customer service environment as well as offering the successful candidate an opportunity to work within the Anglia Integrated Control Centre, and the flexibility to develop their career in various areas.

What we are looking for:

You must be able to demonstrate exceptional levels of customer service and have excellent written communication. They will be working as part of a small team and as such will need to demonstrate a proven track record in working flexibly and under pressure.  

The ideal candidate will be also be able to show how they have innovated to drive improvement in a previous role(s). Experience of communicating with customers during service disruption and/or experience of a range of social media is desirable but not essential. 

The successful candidate will work as part of a 7-day roster with a mix of Monday to Friday early/late shifts and weekend working.
