Driver Manager – Cambridge

A Driver Manager is required to join our Operations team in the Cambridge Area.

Role and Accountability:

Our Operations team are responsible for 800 drivers across our network, as a driver manager you will lead a team of drivers to deliver consistently high standards of train operation. Other key deliverables will be to ensure compliance within the Greater Anglia route, traction, rules, regulations and safety knowledge of your driver team through recognized measurement and monitoring of competence.

Actively participate and contribute to performance improvement of the train service. Contribute to the development of staff briefing, feedback principles and promote inclusiveness.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications Required:

As an experienced driver manager, you will have a solid understanding of Railway Operating rules, procedures and arrangements. Have an understanding of control management, service delivery, recovery, and be trained in incident and accident investigation.

All applicants must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working as a Main Line Train Driver, and previous experience of working with Network Rail Infrastructure employees. You will be a role model for Greater Anglia’s values, working with honesty and integrity.
